A Safe, Encouraging Place to Learn

Learning can be stressful when a child feels behind. That’s why we create an environment where mistakes are part of the process — not something to fear. Students are encouraged to take risks, try new strategies, and persevere through challenges.

Parents trust us because we combine 40+ years of teaching experience with genuine compassion, patience, and a deep understanding of learning differences.

Meeting Students Where They Are

At Hurdles Dyslexia Clinic Inc, we believe every student deserves the opportunity to read and write with confidence — no matter their starting point. We work with children, teens, and adults who struggle with reading, spelling, or writing skills, whether they have a formal diagnosis of dyslexia, Irlen Syndrome, or dysgraphia… or no diagnosis at all.

Our passion is helping learners overcome barriers, discover their potential, and experience the pride that comes with progress. We meet each student where they are, adjusting our teaching strategies to fit their unique needs. No two learning journeys are the same, and neither are our sessions.
