Hurdles Dyslexia Clinic, Inc, founded by Lynn Street, provides services for students who have dyslexia and other reading, writing and spelling challenges as well as screening for Irlen Syndrome (Light Sensitivity). She has first-hand experience in raising a child with dyslexia and has over 20 years of experience in this field.

Our Goal

Hurdles Dyslexia Clinic’s goal is to equip individuals with the tools to become better readers and spellers, especially those with dyslexia. We want to help them become successful in pursuing their dreams.

What We Do

We offer individual online and in-person services to address the needs of a person with dyslexia or Irlen Syndrome
We screen for dyslexia and Irlen Syndrome (light sensitivity) and dysgraphia
We review student work, report cards, school district and/or other professional assessments
We come alongside and empower parents and students with knowledge of the student’s challenges and their rights under the law so they can become better advocates for their children and themselves
We attend student study team meetings and individual education plan meetings.
